Paganism or something else? Sun Feb 03, 2008 11:13 pm [ Mood: Confused ] [ Currently: Watching Rock of Love 2 ] Okay Here's the deal and I figure maybe someone out there in Pagan land can help me. I grew up Babtist by CHOICE. My real thing was nothing at all. My mother said she believed but never wanted to go to Church. My Father (greatman) could careless. So at the age of 10-12 I went to church by choice and studied Babtism. Which I believed in for so long. But then life has not been great. I was molested at 12 and maybe thats when I stopped going (wow that just hit me) but neways.. I just stopped going to church no questioned asked. 5years later I started looking into Wicca which I never heard of before. But I never thought anything of it. Then I met my Husband John. Who was very strict Wiccan...but now he isnt he just stopped with his own reason which I dont really have a clear thought on?! But Its made me think...such a great man and a man who believed so much in Wicca just quits? Also. April 07 my grandfather passed away, and it was very hard on me since he is the only family member I have had to watch DIE! But if they're was a god wouldn't u think he would of smiled when he died. Maybe its the kid curiosty taken over but its how Im feeling. So confused!

There are so many things around us, in our every day lives, that make us wonder about the meaning of being here. One religion teaches one thing and another teaches another. I have learned to pull what feels right to me from many different paths. So, I guess what I am trying to say is that follow your heart, take what you need from your past beliefs add it to what you have now and just believe that whatever you choose will be the right path for you.
