Born in the most beautiful place in the world...Alaska! Raised in both Alaska and the Seattle area and am EXTREMELY homesick. Hope to get back to WA State soon!
I do have a hobby, or passion rather.....scale miniatures. For the past 14+ years, I've been addicted most helplessly to making my own 1:12 scale dollhouses and miniatures. To see my work, please visit my personal miniatures website at: http://www.allthingsmini.com/Menagerie/Index.htm
I have always loved nature and our Mother Earth. I have a special affinity for all creatures and even have a few of my own...four cats, a cockatiel and some fish. I used to have horses and hope to again someday. I live in the city, but only because I have to. My dream is to own several acres with a house on it and a barn full of horses...surrounded by tall Evergreen trees, wild flowers, and a view. I love the rain immensely and wish there was more of it where I live. I'm married with no children. I was raised Catholic; my mothers choice. In my teens, I still didn't "get" the Catholic church or its ways. As an adult, I didn't practice Catholicism, but my heart did yearn for something. Late last year I realized what my heart and soul knew all along....that my destiny lied with my Lady and Lord. So now I am a studying Pagan. For the first time in my life I feel like I belong somewhere. The more I read about Paganism, the more unsure of what path I will end up on. For now, I do what 'feels' right for me and I have no doubt my path will find me wandering around amongst the trees and wildflowers. Until then, I take solice in the fact that my relationship with my Lady and Lord grows stronger by the day as I study and learn the old ways. Blessed Be!
Who I'd like to meet:
A like-minded friend that I'm totally comfortable talking about paganism with. I think it would be great to have a close friend that I can confide in and listen to, support and seek strength from, practice spells and rituals with. A confidante and special friend.
Oh, and John Denver!
